Heather Luby grew up in the Ozark Mountains running barefoot and writing stories.
In addition to being a writer, Heather enjoys being on the Editorial Board for The Midwest Review and an Adjunct Instructor with St. Louis Community College. She also enjoys teaching the craft of writing to students and audiences across the midwest; past engagements include lectures and writing workshops presented through University of Wisconsin-Madison, Weekend With Your Novel Writing Retreat, St. Louis Community College, St. Louis Writers Workshop, and more. She is the former Managing Editor of The Citron Review and former podcast co-host of Firsts in Fiction with writer Aaron Gansky. Heather holds a BA in English from Drury University and a MFA in Creative Writing from Antioch University Los Angeles.
